In order to become licensed to sell real estate in North Carolina, students
must first complete a Prelicensing class. THIS CLASS MUST BE TAKEN IN A CLASSROOM - IT IS NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE. After sucessful
completion, students may sit for the state licensing examination.
ALL Real Estate licensees must complete 8 hours of Continuing Education
each licensing period (July - June), beginning with the second renewal of ANY license.
If you were licensed on or after April 1, 2006, you must take 90 hours
of Postlicensing Education (minimum 30 hours per year).
Advanced Real Estate Training is approved by the NC Real Estate Commission to offer Real
Estate Prelicensing and Postlicensing as well as Real Estate Continuing Education classes.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
No prerequisites – students should have good study skills and basic math skills. Possession of at
least a high school diploma or GED is recommended.
GRADING:
Students
will be graded on the following:
FINAL EXAM:
100%
(75% passing grade)
Quizzes will be given to measure students' progress,
but they will not be included in the final grade.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
Students
must attend 80% (60 hours) of the 75 scheduled classroom hours in order to pass the course.
Students who do not pass on the first attempt or are not present for the final exam will be allowed 1 re-take opportunity
($100 fee) within 10 days of class completion.

A registration
confirmation will be sent via email or (if no email address is given) by US Postal mail. Prior to the beginning of class,
students must execute an enrollment contract which sets forth the basic rights and obligations of both the school and the
student.
The
enrollment contract has been approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
No student shall be denied
admission on the basis of age, sex, race, color, creed, national origin, or religious preference.
Students should dress comfortably for class and bring sweaters or jackets year-round.
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times during class, or while on the school
campus.
WITHDRAWAL
POLICY:
PRELICENSING AND POSTLICENSING CLASSES Students who withdraw prior to the first scheduled class will receive a tuition refund.
CONTINUING ED CLASSES Students may transfer to another date/location if unable
to attend.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING: If, due to circumstances
beyond our control, classes must be cancelled, rescheduled, or moved to another location, students will be offered full refunds
when requested prior to the beginning of class.
WEATHER POLICY: Please call the school. Generally, we
will abide by the decisions of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school systems.
